OLIVER KLEIN & PETER JUERGENS – Let’s Take It (KLING027)
Promoresults
Press/Online:
Weiter so!
Great! 6/6
Minimaland.com: After their hit with ‘Manolo/Scoville’ in 2008, they’re releasing an even better “double bomb” (yeah, they’re 2!), but we’ll add definition “triple bomb” cause every single track by itself is worthy of honors. Since Kling Klong is a imprint run by Martin Eyerer it’s not such a surprise this result, and information claim he liked so much the original “that nothing could stop him from adding a fantastic remix” and that’s really easy to understand. Introductions made, let’s go to what matters, the “triple bomb”. Needle down smooth and there you go to ‘Lets take it’, first track in the package. Well, they really will take a lot of dancefloors with this one! After listening two minutes of it, it’s only a simple detailed 4/4 track ‘till the point it reaches something new. Wow. Enters a bassline worthy of mention and you’re involved into a track that just keeps going on and on. Perfect construction, perfect alignment it’s all I can say. I can’t describe it better, it’s impossible. Hear the sample please! Second track, Label boss remix of ‘Let’s take it’ (Martin Eyerer) is another masterpiece. Round and smooth it was almost perfect without the bassline, then you add the perfect texture bassline and.. you can see the result? Even if the remix goes more to introversion feelings, is one of those we like, always moving /seeming still, breaking/entering at the exact spots with the precise amount of details added in each one of them. This remix is a superb plus to the original track. To end the package, surprisingly, its another masterpiece. ‘Der Spatz Auf Dem Dach’ its a uplifting track with arguments capable of convince even the most stuck person on a audience. Starts as a disguised sheep but transforms into a wolf when the bassline comes! Energizing by nature, lives on the hypnotic side, with such a level of details warped patterns and riffs that you only want more of this stuff. In a crowded club, with people asking for a peak, this is undoubtly the master peak, and as I describe it my legs are moving and I just wanna jump! What a track minimalanders!
This is the Ep we were claiming on the minimaland for a while. A superb production and a energizing texture are able to define one of the best releases we received this year to review so far. Round and uplifting, is one of those we strongly recommend you carry all the way, wherever you’re playing at. It’s difficult to create an Extended Play as this one, so captivating since the beginning ‘till the end, powdered with details and constructions/deconstructions that recycle each track to a new level when a break enters. We will not be surprised to see this release in the cases of those artists we follow more often. ‘Let’s take it’ will for sure take a lot of people into euphoric states this year. 8.5/10

Mijk Van Dijk: Kling Klong gibt ja richtig Gas.
